What is it?

Today i’m going to tell you something about mindfulness. Maybe you’ve already heard about this, but how can mindfulness effect our well-being? Mindfulness is living in the present. People are more aware of their health and well-being because we becoming a little bit older day by day and have to deal a lot with stress. Most of the people think they are healthy when they eat food rich with vitamins and other substances but, is it only our diet that keeps us healthy and keeps us from diseases? I think mindfulness can be a very important part of our lives because it allows us to improve our lives.

Why is it cool?

Your head is constantly worrying and thinking about everything that happens in your life, this problem will effect your mind because your mind does not come to rest. Even if you go to sleep your head will not be relaxed because your brains are continuously busy processing the things you have experienced the past day. By applying mindfulness in your daily life routine you are more confident and have less stress during the rest of your life. Maybe you will recognize this ”stress process” as an example, the deadline you have at school or at work. Or maybe your on your phone so often that you have no idea what is happening around you and suddenly you are 2 hours later. When your head is full of thoughts, your brain and body can not recharge itself properly. You will experience more stress and in the worst cases, you may incur a burnout or have a chronic illness. But how  do we apply mindfulness? There are a lot of exercises like the grounding exercise. The grounding exercise will help us to keep our feet on the ground and you return to the reality. There are also products and gadgets on the market that will help you remind to live in the present (click photo above to see one of my favourite item). I hope that you are more aware of the effects of mindfulness and apply it yourself.

Don’t forget to live day by day and enjoy the moment =)
